On Friday, November 9, employees from Epic Engineering served two meals at the Ronald McDonald Family Room, which is located in Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. The Ronald McDonald Family Room is a place inside the hospital where parents and families can go to freshen up or take a break while a child is being cared for. The room has a full kitchen, as well as computers, a TV room, and restrooms with showers that can be utilized by families as they go through the stressful events associated with treating a sick child.
Our first group had a wonderful time preparing and serving tacos for lunch. Then another group came in and made breakfast for dinner, which included one of Epic's principals, Don Olsen, creating his fun pancake art for kids and their families.
