Epic Engineering’s team planned and designed Watson Bridge and Roadway replacement in Uintah County, Utah. The Watson roadway consisted of 7 miles of roadway replacement. Our design team of Civil and Geotechnical Engineers analyzed the storm water and flood plain mapping for the stretch of road. Included in the design stage was flow and precipitation estimation, return frequency analysis and sediment transport analysis. Evacuation Creek, in the project area, required additional PMF analysis.
Once designed our expert team identified sources of funding and handled all regulatory permitting to allow the project to be built without delay. Our Construction Management team then took over and managed the construction of the roadway and bridge.
