Epic Engineering has developed many long and successful working relationships with our clients, municipal and private, by providing exceptional and professional materials testing, inspection, consulting and professional engineering and planning services. Since our inception, Epic Engineering has made it a primary focus to provide exceptional materials testing services to government clients.
This focus on municipal work has brought us in contact with many materials testing and inspection projects with varying degrees of workload and responsibility. A few of these projects are Timberlakes Water Special Service District, Duchesne Water Treatment Plant, Tuhaye Mountain Residential Development and Big Sandwash Reservoir Enlargement project.
We use a multifaceted approach to every project including larger projects that require higher instances of testing requirements and more demanding testing procedures. As an experienced firm we are capable of responding quickly to sudden changes in volume of work and will ensure our project team remains flexible to changing work loads.
All of our laboratories are certified in aggregate testing, in-place soils testing (nuclear gauges), concrete testing including air entrainment, slump, and concrete cylinders, and asphalt extractions. In addition, we have a mobile material testing laboratory that is able to be moved to construction sites for on-site testing throughout the duration of the project.
Our Heber City lab is accredited through the AASHTO accreditation program and complies with all federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, ordinances and statutes, as well as all standardization and compliance testing requirements as listed below. Personnel that work in the lab and in the field are also certified by WAQTC.
The following material testing services have been provided since our inception:
- Aggregate testing
