As the Director of Project Management, Dillon plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the successful execution of our projects from inception to completion. Dillon leads a team of project managers, providing guidance, strategic direction, and ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coming from a background and expertise in MEP engineering and multi-disciplinary project management, his leadership skills are essential in driving efficiency, fostering collaboration, and exceeding client expectations. In addition to being the Director of Project Management, Dillon also overseas the MEP Engineering Division as the Division Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develops and implement strategic plans for project management operations aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Team Management: Leads mentors, and inspires a team of project managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Project Oversight: Oversees the entire project lifecycle, from initial client consultation to project closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Client Relations: Cultivates strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Resource Management: Allocates resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project outcomes and maximize efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identifies potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Implements rigorous quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of engineering excellence and compliance with industry regulations.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluates and enhances project management processes and methodologies to streamline operations and drive efficiency.
- Collaboration: Fosters cross-functional collaboration among project teams, engineering disciplines, and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Performance Monitoring: Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor project performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications/Certification
- Proven experience (10 years) in project management within the MEP engineering industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge effective engineering principles, practices, codes, and standards.
