Epic Engineering, P.C. is a medium-sized multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm. Established in 1997, the company has grown from a staff of 2 to over 50 employees. Epic has locations in Utah: Heber City, West Valley City, and Vernal, as well as locations in North Dakota: Williston and Killdeer, and a location in Mesa, Arizona. Multiple office locations allow us to provide a personal level of service for our clients while benefiting from the resources, experience, and expertise of a large organization. Epic Engineering is looking for a licensed engineer (PE/SE) with wide range of experience in working with various structural components for existing and new structural projects including multiple story commercial buildings. Experience with Revit and structural software such as enercalc and RISA, as well as with writing custom Excel spreadsheets are a must. Experience working with and training a team of engineers is preferred.
Abilities should include:
Ability to perform calculations and design for structural projects
Assure design quality and functionality
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
This position requires knowledge of applicable federal, state and local building codes and safety laws. Work requires advanced math skills, special relationship abilities, and the ability to understand problems and have good engineering judgment and communication skills.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred) and having a PE or SE license in UT or the ability to obtain a UT PE/SE license via comity.
Experience: 5-8 years of related experience required.
